I'm BIG on customer service and today, Regina and Tammy did just that. I got the WOW experience. I'd starting losing faith in Publix due to that once friendly service no matter who you encounter in their stores has been replaced with employees who don't want to be bothered or get aggressive, frustrated when you approach them with a question, but with these 2, Publix, you got it right. These ladies may need to be a part of your on boarding, training your staff how to interact with customers. Thank you ladies for the experience and this salad is delicious.

Customer service is terrible.
Background: We got a grocery mobile order and also picked up platters for sandwiches, fruits, vegetables, and bakery items. The platters were ready for pick up, but unfortunately, the fruit tray lid was not secured and the entire platter went all over the place. For the mobile order, we received the wrong order. We didn’t realize it until we arrived home (yes, we should’ve checked in the parking lot, but you should anticipate that the employees are aware of whose groceries they are providing when you pick up…). We called them, and they asked for us to bring it back and to get our groceries. FYI Michelle - I hope Publix gave you new groceries for your pick up because the groceries sat in our car for 1 hour before we could return them. Additionally, when we called Publix a few times, we kept getting put on hold, disconnected, or transferred. When we got ahold of one department, the guy said he was new and didn’t know how to transfer us to another department. You guys should evaluate your training program for new employees. When we got to the deli department that customer service transferred us to, he was very unenthusiastic on the phone and was not willing to assist with another fruit tray order. We got transferred multiple times before someone would help us.

Follow up: The store did provide us a free fruit tray. The employee sincerely apologized and informed us there are new lids on their platter trays that are not as secure as the previous. The store also provided us with our correct grocery order.

All in all, it was just an aggravating experience.

I went to the deli in December to get a chicken tender sub and i was told that they had none and they acted like they dont have timers and couldn’t tell me when more tenders would be ready. I was pretty upset so i left. I came back today to try again and i was met with the same situation. This time i was told they would be ready in 10-15 minutes i came back in such time and even longer because of how long they were taking to tend to customers. Yet no tenders were ready and no time was given. Pitiful Service.(and not to mention they burnt the crap out of my brothers turkey sub)

It a great store for shopping, but the deli is a joke. The staff is extremely slow and unfriendly. It has taken over 20min to make the 4 sandwiches for the man in the front of the line the people in front of me has been here for 34 minutes. This is beyond ridiculous. Never saw a manager.

I do not recommend the bakery at all. The products I received were not as described when I purchased the items. Bought and paid for online and picked up by a friend (or I probably would’ve asked for the cake to be fixed in store)..Delivered straight from store to party. I was honestly embarrassed by the cake. The cupcakes weren’t decorated correctly but at least they weren’t a complete mess. I’ve ordered from other locations and never had a problem. I was so disappointed. First picture is what I ordered. Others are what I received…minus the toppers, i obviously added those myself.

This location is a premiere build. It has two stories with a seating cafe area above the entryway/customer service station. There is a bulk foods section in produce (similar to Whole Foods style) and an expanded ‘ready to heat and eat’ food selection. International foods also has a nice uplift for the area. I will update this review once I have made a few more visits.

I worked for Publix almost 11 years, quit 7 years ago and moved to Pacific Northwest. So I know a lot about the culture of the company, and BOY after 7 years being away, the culture has gone down hill.

When I visit I come specifically every time as soon as I can to get my favorite wrap in the deli. The staff seems pretty rude every time.

The annoying part in my recent visit, was when I got to the counter the lady started my wrap. When she got to the veggie adding bit, asked what veggie I wanted. I said lettuce, then she said the other lady would finish. Uhhh... OK. Literally just wanted lettuce. No big deal, the other clerk was finishing at the printing station with another customer. Won't take long. Then a manager came and made her recite "My Publix, My Part". It took her a minute, I don't blame the clerk. Remembering bullshit like that is ridiculous, it doesn't do anything, it doesn't help the customer. But the manager making her do it while I was waiting was so far beyond the Publix culture I loved, I was rather annoyed. By the time the manager let her go, the guy behind me nearly passed me in line with his sandwich being done.

Why do that with a customer in line?

I love that publix is always clean and friendly staff members . Can not beat the BOGO sales weekly. They have the best ice cream and cakes IMHO... this weekend we tried their pecan pie- oh so good heated with a little ice cream.
