Love the cleanliness and all of the product options at this Kohl’s! Usually customer service is great however the last 3 times I’ve gone, their cashier Dorothy has been incredibly rude to me & argumentative. I would show her my member ID and eligible coupons, after ignoring me the first time I’d present them again and she claimed they don’t work or would ignore my questions and give me an attitude (the coupons would work after all btw). It’s just a shame I’d have to plea my case, listen to her argue about it and watch her roll her eyes in front of me. I just want to shop and not have to experience her mean and negative demeanor 🙁

Had what In wanted. Nice down pillows. Reasonable price. I really hope retail doesn't die. We need department stores ... sometimes you need to shop for things you can see and touch. Try shopping here ?

Retail shopping has become a difficult chore since the pandemic. Finding a store clerk/rep in our retail stores now, simply to answer questions or verify stock on an item is a thing of the past. We are slowed down by lines either at the registers or customer service simply just to get a quick answer regarding our purchase. The removal of floor pricing machines at Koh's was a mistake. I have no doubt it was a cost cutting decision. It also affects weather or not we make the purchase. With no one on the floor to ask questions and without the pricing unit, I generally walk out. I am also not a fan of online shopping. Kohl's has made it more difficult. just by removing the pricing unit.

When you shop at the Kohls in Bedford look for the best associate ever, Casey! In all of my years of shopping, Casey is someone I will never forget. She is a true professional because of her knowledge and skill but she stands head and shoulders above anyone because of her warm and charming personality.

I usually go shopping here all the time and never really had an issue. But today I went to get some last minute things and the alarm went off as I walked out and I went to the closest cashier who mind you wasn’t busy. She told me with the only attitude to basically go away and go back to the cashier who had checked me out which was in Sephora and there a line already. This lady I have heard about many times being rude to other people I know that come here and it leaves such a bitter experience. I had my daughter with me and I don’t think it’s right to have be rude while I’m with her.

Kohls in Mt Kisco……I will never step foot in this store again. Looking for a winter jacket, found what I wanted/needed in 15 minutes. To actually PAY for it took me 45 minutes!!!

Yikes, this poor cashier was SO overwhelmed. In this day & age a store needs to realize people have packed days!!! Hire another body for everyone’s sake.

Sorry to say, my visit here wasn't enjoyable or even useful. It's a huge store with very few employees and most of them weren't very friendly or helpful. I can't blame them because they're probably making minimum wage and are not happy to be there.
It's a good place for Amazon returns, so I'll end on that positive note.

This review is being written for Amelia at the Bedford, NY Kohl's Store and it's also being written for Debbie at the Corlandt, NY Kohl's store. I wanted to take time out to praise these two amazing woman.
I went to Kohl's on November 16, 2024 and found a beautiful Italian hand painted glass bowl in Kohl's at the Corlandt, NY location. It was perfect for my home the only problem is I needed two of them but they only had one left. I went to Customer Service just to inquire if their store had more in storage. Debbie from Customer Service checked but that was the last one in their store. Without me even having to ask she started to scan other near by stores looking for this item and found one that was in the Bedford, NY store. This item was on clearance so she could not see the picture of the bowl on her device. Without me even asking she called the Bedford, NY Store and explained in detail the item and asked if the person (Amelia) who answered the phone if she could try to find the item.
Amelia from the Bedford, NY Kohl's store believed she had found the item. The two woman talked in great detail to ensure this is the bowl that I was looking for. Amelia asked for my name and how soon she thought I would be there and instructed Debbie to tell me when I arrived at the Beford, Kohl's to ask for Amelia and she would give me the bowl to purchase. Long story short I drove over to the Kohl's Bedford, NY and when I arrived I went to the cashier and it just happened to be Amelia. She had the bowl waiting for me and it was exactly the bowl I was looking for. Both of these ladies went out of there way just to get me a bowl to put on a piece of furniture in my home. I don't see medical personal work as hard to get something right as these two woman did for something so simple as a decoration for my home.
I want to say thank you to Amelia. From what I learned Amelia is the assistant manager yet when I walked in she was working the register to check customers out. She multi tasked to get customers checked out and get me the bowl that I wanted.
If you have ever worked retail it is not an easy job. I have worked retail in the past and it can be a very thankless job. A lot of people get burnt out because of the abuse by customers, lack of pay and long hours. Next time someone goes above and beyond at their job I hope that you take the time out to give them a 5 star review. It's so easy to post negative, but easy to forget and thank someone when they go out of their way for you. Thank you again Amelia and Kohls. I hope Amelia's is recognized for going above and beyond. She truly takes pride in her position and she makes Kohls SHINE.
