I have been a Burke customer since 1979. During this journey I have purchased two new heating systems, thousands of gallons of heating oil and many service contracts. I have had countless service calls for other than routine maintenance over the years also. Through all of this I will give them an A rating and recommend them. They are not least costly but you get what you pay for and I feel it has been a successful experience!

No heat and an ETA of 3 AM? Let’s just say my service contract with Burke Energy won’t be renewed. Since switching to them, I’ve had nothing but problems with my boiler. I’m planning to make the switch to Economy Fuel. I really miss Stefani Oil—they were fantastic. Burke, however, has been a complete disappointment!

The most unethical company ever. We used COD because it was easy, fast, no contracts, etc. A Burke truck came to deliver through COD and their tech claimed he could not deliver because the hose wouldn't attach to the fill pipe which is absolutely ridiculous since we have had many deliveries prior. We were out of oil, and in a bad spot. We called COD, who then told us we had to call Burke. Burke stated they could not deliver unless we signed a contract to have someone come out and look at the oil tank and then deliver, we had no choice. It's funny how the delivery driver that came out the following day was able to deliver the oil with no problem, and even stated that there should have been no issues for the other driver to not drop the oil. Now, we are on a contract, we have run out of oil, and they are refusing to deliver. They want to charge for someone to come out again. They stated they will not deliver the oil, and just want to end the contract. We never would have been in this position in the first place without them. So here we are, cold water, can't use COD because we have a contract with Burke who won't deliver oil. So explain to me how this is ok. A complaint was filed with the BBB ,and they have responded, but it doesn't make sense to even bother looking at it because they are going to make up excuses, etc. As to how they have done no wrong. Literally all we wanted was an oil drop. People are so tired of being taken advantage of ,and this is yet another company looking to take everything you've got even during times like these when the economy is terrible. It's disgusting, and I would advise anyone against this company. There is a pregnant person with MS, and a child in this house who now have to take ice cold showers for no reason, and nothing is being done about it except excuses and throwing it back on us. The tank is empty period.

Oil tank failed July 4. Came on a holiday having had a service contract and set up temp tank. Discussed options with Sales Rep and chose the best for us and they even set up financing for us too.
Excellent quality work performed with a new tank install.

Burke has got to be the absolute worst heating company. I have to call in to schedule a propane delivery every 2 weeks because they don’t deliver when they say they will. I ran out of propane and had to call the fire department because my whole house smelled like gas and not even this incident urges them to deliver on time. I’m waiting to convert to natural gas but unfortunately have to continue using them in the interim. I hope this review spares someone from making the biggest mistake by hiring Burke as their heating company.

I have been a customer of Burke Energy for over 20 years. The service that they provide is 2nd to none. This past Sunday I noticed a water leak in my boiler room. When I called on a Sunday to request a technician I spoke to a very nice woman ( Casie? ) and she said that they would have someone come that evening, and said that she would try to see if someone can come earlier. The technican arrived within a couple of hours. His name was Fernando #32 and he was excellent, knowledgeable and courteous. He located and repaired the problems and was a pleasure to deal with.

I am not normally a negative review person, even when I have bad experiences. But my experience with Burke is so horrific, it needs to be shared so others dont make the same mistake of engaging then.
The technicians and mechanics are wonderful, and that is the only reason I am giving any stars.

Burke energy is the WORST company I think I have ever dealt with. Unresponsive, no accountability, tossing blame back and forth and zero follow through. They have no sense of what customer service is.

Every day I regret my decision to use them to install my generator and will be ditching them as soon as possible. That is assuming they listen to my request to not deliver anymore propane since they deliver when they want and not when it is needed. Do NOT use this company.

Burke Energy is a customer-service oriented provider of heating & cooling services. Their phone reps and service technicians are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They were able to fix what another company messed up.
