Steve's customer service was absolutely horrible, and having someone like him work in the customer service industry reflects poor career management. I had to ask twice for them to call fraud regarding suspicious activity on my account. Instead of assisting me, they displayed a lack of urgency and professionalism by stating they "wouldn't call back if the first call didn't work." This is unacceptable behavior from a company representative. I expect better from AT&T.

After having a bad experience at a different location earlier in the week, Kai demonstrated the great customer service that AT&T should always offer their clientele. He was patient and explained everything us. We will always go to this location in the future.

The staff here was apathetic and incapable of helping me in any capacity. When I finally got them to somewhat help, it turns out that they did not even do what they said they were going to do. When I spoke to a customer service representative several days later, what the in-store employee stated ended up being misrepresented at best and a lie at worst.

Additionally, when I asked about inventory of a specific phone, they stated there was not one anywhere in Dallas to buy. When I called another store, they literally had several available for sale. Again, some kind of error at best, a lie at worst.

If I could give this store a 0/5 I would. My situation actually got worse as a result of interacting with their staff.

My experience with this store has been absurd. I went it to upgrade my iPhone shortly before the 16 launched because I specifically wanted to upgrade to the 15. They advised me to come back in a few days after the launch announcement since there should be extra promos going on for iPhones including a markdown of the 15.

When I visited a few days later they said there still weren’t any promotions or price changes because the new iPhones weren’t available for preorder yet and I needed to come back again on a future preorder date.

When I came back a third time, Marc told me the trade in for my current iPhone was now $500 instead of $1000 (they knew which one I had been planning to buy but hadn’t told me that the promotion on it could change) because the new iPhone 16 was out. After some discussion, I agreed to pay off the remaining $300 balance of my current iPhone’s installment plan for maximum trade in value and trade it in for the new 16 instead of the 15 I had been planning on since now the 16 was the one they would give $1000 towards for my trade in. The 16 was on preorder so it was going to be several weeks before I would receive it but I went ahead with it to get the best value for my trade in.

When my new iPhone 16 finally arrived, there was no information with it for sending back my original iPhone trade in and no return shipping box or return label. I waited to see if it would arrive separately and after several days called customer service for help. They told me they would send me a return box and label. Unsurprisingly, these never arrived either.

I finally visited a different AT&T store where they told me it was now past my 30 day trade in period and they couldn’t do anything, but recommended I go back to the original store.

I went back to the original (this) store and they told me they also couldn’t do anything past 30 days but I could call customer service.

I called customer service and they told me they also couldn’t do anything past the 30 days, but that they could open a ticket and I could send it back and there was a chance they would accept the trade in. She was kind enough to warn me that if they don’t accept it they will still keep the phone. At this point it seems there is no option to apply the credit for the phone I had gone in to trade in 5 visits ago and I will now have to sell it online for around $300 instead of the $1000 trade in value I paid $300 to secure!

Whether this experience stemmed from incompetence or dishonesty, this has been the most redundant, confusing, frustrating wild goose chase customer service I have ever encountered. It’s unacceptable and frankly bizarre.

Per the att robot's request that I post this here:

You had earphones advertised in store as half off with purchase of a phone. After I had decided to purchase the phone and the headphones, I was informed that the deal on the headphones was not going to be honored despite being clearly advertised inside the store. The manager attempted to charge me 2x the advertised price, and was insistent that was the only price she would sell the headphones for.

The gentleman who helped my wife and me was patient and delightful. I would give him 5 stars. The fraudulent bait and switch tactics employed by management will result in a complaint with both the FTC and BBB.

Tavaris Thompson was exceptional in answering all my questions and concerns, he made everything a breeze. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing I wished is that AT&T had their products in store rather than having it shipped. Needing internet that day, however I have to wait till it's shipped.

I hate this store! I overheard an employee say that he hates old people! He is cruel and unfortunately he still works there. I wish that I complained on him when he said it. My mistake. They act like they hate their job! I am never going back! The Cedar Hill store is my new location. The service is 10 times better!!!

worst service i ever have had. I let he young guy pull up my account about and i simply ask if he or had anyone that could take a quick look at my phone to see if it was operating properly. He said no and proceeded to tell me i had to pay off my phone to get a new phone. I looked online and i do have next up plan which allows me to do so. but no mention. ill make sure to never mention ATT again as will. Hello T-mobile...
